Patrick introduced my family to tabletop role playing games, including children ages 5 and 7. He is patient in both teaching and playing, and designed games that were simple enough for the kids at the table and yet still engaging for the adults. With humor and style, he would weave story, combat, and logic into games that were both fun and instructive in group dynamics. He was always able to be firm about the purpose of rules, while flexible in their implementation to keep the game moving. He is at home with groups of mixed-level players or seasoned gamers alike, always comes prepared, quick-thinking and able to pivot and improvise. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
