Harbinger is a great DM ya'll. Great maps. Awesome music and sound effects. And very strong lore and knowledge / storytelling ... I'm in the domains of dread campaign and that spans so many different worlds and regions, but trust me when I say we have complete agency to go anywhere we want and ... boom .. Harb's got the maps and the lore and the NPCs ready to go. My favorite thing he does is with backstory. He doesn't just weave it into the game. It IS the game. I'm sure the exact same campaign would be totally different for one set of PCs than it would for another set, just because of how much the actual background of the actual characters playing the game factors in. So, if you like to do a good backstory and have it play a huge impact in the game, and if you like a true sandbox campaign where you have all the agency you want ... Harb is your man. Also -- he is NOT stingy with cool magic items!

Just a great DM all around. Voice acting. Original maps. Great judgment with on-the-fly rulings. Weaves your backstory into the campaign. And his homebrew world is very well fleshed out, lots of cool lore, cool settings, great npcs. Makes playing in Faerun or Eberron very boring in comparison. Also, he's very flexible. I'm playing the first drow PC he's ever had, and he's been kind enough to let me build out a great deal of what the underdark looks like in his world, complete with cities, families, noble houses, etc ... I came from a long-running Thursday campaign that eventually feel apart, so I joined another long-running Thursday campaign that also conked out. I am SO GLAD I found this campaign and this group. I haven't looked forward to Thursdays like this in years. Highly recommend

Not sure where to even begin. Gan is an amazing DM. He has built an entire original campaign in the Eberron setting, and when I say built, I mean BUILT - block by block, using Talespire. The result is amazing, beautiful, detailed 3D maps that make you feel like your characters are acting in a movie instead of just tokens plodding around a 2D sketch of a map. Gan also streams your session. Does great characters with their own voices and personalities. And he builds your backstory into the campaign. So not only will you participate in his custom adventure, but he also customizes his adventures for you. Love him. Can’t speak more highly of a DM. Highly recommend. And I’ve been playing DND since the late 80s.

DM'd shopping well. Then our first random encounter today with 3 frost giants. Bob handled it really well. It was challenging, fun, and well described. He was able to describe in three dimensions, dealing with our characters up on snowy mountains in between a valley. Our barbarian flipped out when his horse got killed and went after a giant solo (lol). So we had to work out saving him, and surviving the giants. It's pretty cool when a random encounter turns into a really fun game session!

Paragon is a STRONG GM. Great with character voices, maps, background music, and overall look and feel of the adventure. Makes it really immersive. We had our first combat session. He's great at knowing the rules. And he is a master of the Roll20 interface, which really makes for a fast and efficient combat encounter. There are even 120 second counters for each turn, which speeds up play and makes it more realistic. He's also solid with monster tactics. So combat is a nail biting challenge!
