About Which Dice?
Hail and well met! My name is Elliott and I would love to be your GM. Gming began for me running games during school lunches. Over the past ten years it has become an important part of my life. I have GMed for schools, events and ran years long campaigns, set up clubs and introduced the hobby to folks of all ages. I am a published author, creating the Monster School series of books for young children, as well as doing work in illustration and editing. I hold a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing, with a focus on medieval literature and a Master's in Medieval Studies. My games have ranged from the crunchy earlier editions of Dungeons & Dragons to roleplay-forward systems like Monster of the Week. My players have explored genres from supernatural mysteries to low fantasy wars and superhero noir, and I'm always excited to write more. I have a 100s of pieces of art crafted for my games including characters, items, maps and even comicbook covers.

How Which Dice? runs games
Storytelling is my one true hobby and as an avid reader and writer of history, fiction and comic books I find these to be great inspirations to my games. I work with high preparation story events paired with player-made solutions. Maps are a big part of my games, from twisting dungeons to city districts, putting player exploration at the forefront of my stories. Whether my players are pulling off a heist or defending a city, they know that each of their decisions will impact their story and their world. Combat in my games are high stakes and dynamic, encouraging player cooperation and decision making. My goal is to make my games accessible and enjoyable to new and seasoned players by subverting expectations, designing new monsters and matching difficulty with ability. I believe that roleplay and complex relationships are at the core of all of my games becasue I put important choices at the forefront and map each game to my player's characters. The only thing worth writing is the human heart in conflict with itself, even when that human is actually an orc.
