About me

Hi! I'm Cheyenne! I played my first D&D game in college while I was getting my Psychology undergrad degree. I quickly moved on to exploring other games as both a player and game master. I especially love Powered by the Apocalypse games. I have 6 years worth of experience running games in person, virtually, and through text. I pursued more schooling in advocacy, counselling, and community building where I gained a special interest in the intersection of wellness, geek culture, community, and especially TTRPGs. I've facilitated group programing at a women's shelter and ran a drop in arts and culture weekly group at a community health center which serviced BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ youth. There I developed specific programing for TTRPGs and ran various games focused on community and skill building in person and virtual. My goal now is offering similar styled games to wider audience online. I offer inclusive and safe games that are BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ friendly. I use safety tools and session zeros to makes sure everyone is comfortable and enjoying the sessions. I also use, visuals, music and more to offer the best experience possible for players. Wellness Quest has the added goal of working to build skillsets based on the players desires. Our games and surrounding tools are meant to build confidence and resiliency, allow players to practice things such as boundary setting, and exploring identities in a safe space. I also have a friend who helps with music, visual, taking notes, and game moderation. All of which is meant to bring a unique, valuable, and enhance game experience to players.

GM Style

My GM style is very roleplay focused. I don't do the best character voices and I don't tend to be drawn to crunchy rules of combat. I do believe in the rule of cool, but I like to keep things fair and balanced at the same time. I'm a trained group facilitator with experience working with groups through self expression, skill-building, conflict resolution and more. I've used TTRPG's to do this in a group setting for over a year now. My games tend to be very diverse, filled with NPC's and characters with different backgrounds, identities, and sexualities. I believe strongly in safety tools and out of character communication.
