About me

TTRPGs have been a part of my life from the minute I was born. As a baby, I would sit on my dad's lap and try to eat his dice while he played AD&D. My first word was "dice" and my first sentence was "that's my dice". I made my first character when I was five and killed Vecna when I was eight. I ran my first game when I was ten--my mom was the only player, and after every fight the monsters would decide to be her friends. I've never stopped running games since. I want to host games because I want to run more than just D&D and Pathfinder, and I know there are hundreds of people who want to play more than just D&D and Pathfinder. I like the idea of being paid to GM not just because it's a cool side-hustle, but also because it brings a level of engagement that you can't find with a regular pick-up group. I know the people who show up are going to care, and that makes me want to present my best work.

GM Style

I want my worlds to feel *alive*. I'm obsessed with trying to convey depth and richness in my settings. My games are just as much about what's in your character's mug at the tavern as it is about what is in their scabbard while dungeon-delving. I'm interested in conveying the texture of individual moments and hinting at the rich, inner lives of my NPCs. All of this means my games are conversational and casual, but also very serious and deliberate. If you like the slow pace and careful storytelling of book series like "The Wheel of Time" or "The Lord of the Rings", you'll like my games.
