About Ugly Duckling
Hello! I go by Tutu and Duckling, welcome to my profile. I'm a 25 year old writer with a lot of free time and TTRPG experience on my hands. I love roleplaying and exploring immersive worlds. I started playing DND 5e when it was being playtested in 2012 and I've pretty much been stuck on tabletop games ever since. I'll be running Play by Post DND and occasional rules-lite games, hopefully resulting in some unforgettable experiences for myself and my players.

How Ugly Duckling runs games
My focus is generally on creating interesting personalities and histories for NPCs. I spend a lot of time tinkering and nitpicking my writing. I do my best to follow the rules and spirit of the system, but I'll often make exceptions for the almighty 'rule of cool'. I'm quite experienced with the Discord Bot Avrae and its various aliases, I depend on them in my DND games for running combat. I use Tupperbox for NPCs. All artwork I use will be credited in some way, I personally I do not use AI generation for art.
