About me

My name is Conner, but I go by Tyto online. I will be your DM for this adventure! First, a little bit about me. I am currently a 7th Grade Social Studies teacher living in Massachusetts with my fiancee and my two cats Bo and Meeka (they love the camera so I’m sure they will make appearances). I discovered D&D early in college in 2013. My friends and I tried many times to play the game, but could never get a session off the ground due to limited time, resources, and supplies. After leaving college in 2018, I discovered Critical Role and actual play and my love for the game grew exponentially. I joined a game at an LGS, and eventually began DMing myself again over Foundry VTT. After about a year of that, I decided I wanted to DM for more people and posted my first campaign on Start Playing!

GM Style

My games are usually an equal balance between roleplay, story, and combat. I can easily adapt to the group, whether that means allowing for more roleplay if the group wants, creating more challenging combat, or dropping hooks for more story and roleplay. I am fairly flexible and feel comfortable in all 3 facets of the game.
