About me

Well met, travelers! I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons and other role-playing and tabletop miniature games off and on since 1981. I've been both a Player and a Game Master for over 40 years and have owned almost every D&D edition's library (including all of 5e on Beyond). I really fell in love with 5th edition about 8 years ago and have been hosting games on public Discord servers for the past 3 years. My favorite way to run games is Sandbox, or Open World. I can also run any adventure in any D&D 5e setting, whether purchased or my homebrewed. I encourage Players to role-play and think through situations but will ultimately react to my Players character’s actions. I am a “let the dice determine the outcome” kind of DM, but I also know when to call for dice rolls and when they’re unnecessary. I run fairly streamlined games when it comes to game mechanics, and I love to teach new Players how to best use these mechanics – usually by in-game examples. My goal is for YOU to have FUN and to have a very positive and memorable experience with a timeless, classic fantasy game. GM style

I am a very versatile DM, and very good at improvising fun outcomes to Player’s wide range of decision making. I encourage a role-playing game atmosphere over meta-gaming, but not to the point that it becomes uncomfortable for anyone – this is, after all, a game with rules and mechanics.
