About me
I've been playing RPGs for over 40 years now, since I was but a wee little adventurer. This is a new way to bring in new players and connect people all over the world! New players are the lifeblood of the hobby and I always love seeing what they bring to it.
GM Style
I've been playing and running these so long it gives me a very seasoned perspective. The game, at the core, is about people getting together to have fun telling a story. Some game systems help with that, others muddy the waters, but in the end what matters is that people have fun. I have been known to engage in the occasional dramatic voice, and I love the roleplay that can happen in ttrpgs, even in the midst of a furious combat or in the journey from one place to another. I've played incredibly crunchy rules-heavy games that have 500 page tomes full of charts, tables, and numbers. I've played diceless narrative games. I adapt the mix of rules to cool based on the players' tastes. Many of the games I enjoy can be run simply using voice communication on Discord or elsewhere, and with physical or digital dice. Other games benefit from digital tools like Roll20 or Foundry VTT to facilitate maps and handouts. Each game will fit somewhere.
