About Kelly
Storytelling for me is a thread that has run through my entire lifetime and continues to be the major thread in everything I do. RPG games like D&D and Pathfinder were something I found later in life, but since the first campaign with friends and family more than 8 years ago, it has become what I love most. Collaborative storytelling where we all come together with the sole purpose of having fun, fighting some monsters, and telling a story together is community at its best. I think what makes me the DM that I am, is that whatever you are doing, if it is in the pursuit of telling your story, I am right there with you excited to help make it happen. I love the rules, I love the numbers, I love character creation, but what outshines all of that are the moments when the whole table is all in supporting each other in telling a story, eyes lit up, joyful laughter or moans of despair--that is what it is all about for me. I hope to tell a story with you someday!

How Kelly runs games
My style of GMing is very narrative-driven. I am a short story writer, I grew up as a young adult in MUSHs where we RPed in amazing text-driven worlds collaboratively and I like to create a space for that collaborative story telling. I really enjoy the numbers, I love making a highly detailed and number-crunched character, but what I really like to do is create a space for story and shared experiences that we can laugh about later can exist in. You have a story to tell, your party members have a story to tell, I have a story to tell and we all agree to tell those stories together--of course while also killing monsters.
