About me

Hi! I'm Eric ^_^ I'm relatively new to the ttrpg scene(especially considering some people have literal decades of experience!). I've been a player for a few years, but only recently started dming. Although I'm mainly familiar with Dnd 5e, I love ttrpgs in general. Specifically, because they allow far more freedom and creativity than almost any other medium. I welcome all kinds of players, experienced and novice alike!

GM Style

In my games I like to primarily focus on role-playing and exploration. That's not because I don't like combat though! I like it when the combat feels dynamic and memorable, and I feel like that's more easily accomplished if you don't run combat every single session. While I stay within the rules systems of whatever game I'm running, I like to mod things a bit as well. But any changes or addendums I make I will stay consistent with. I'm also upfront with my players, I'm not going to spring some rando rule on anyone out of nowhere, we'll talk things through and reach an agreement first. TLDR: If I have to choose between rules crunch or rule-of-cool, I'm choosing rule-of-cool.
