About Jamie
Hey there!! I’m Jamie, and I’ve been playing TTRPGs for about 10 years now and I’ve been DMing for most of them. It’s been hard to find a good group so I came here to make a friend group who is serious about the game as well as invests their time so everyone can have fun!!

I got started GMing...
When I was 13 years old with a game of Lost Mines of Phandelver…set in the desert world of Athas from Dark Sun. Unfortunately, there was a TPK in session 2 when I added 20 goblins instead of 10 to the dungeon but I have learned a lot from my mistakes since then!
My favorite books are
A Game Of Thrones by George R.R. Martin, Punkzilla by Adam Rapp, & The Dark Tower by Stephen King
My favorite system of all Time is
The World of Darkness series but namely Vampire the Masquerade, there has never been such a deeply satisfying story-telling game tied to the subject matter in its lore like it. VtM is something that I have tried to replicate in every system I’ve run since playing in it.
How Jamie runs games
Over time, I have come to the conclusion that a GM's Style is determined by the group that they play with; I like to adjust Combat, Roleplay, & Exploration to be balanced experience with whichever of these Three PIllars is most liked as the basis of most of the game. That being said, I love intergrating characters & their backstories within the setting & the campaign plot to give the game a truly fantastical experience like a Greek Epic or Norse Saga!

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Quentin Tarantino if he didn’t like feet as some of my players have attested
My favorite trope is...
JRPG-Style Party Roles (Tank, DPS, Healer, Controller, Etc.) and Personalities that reflect them by the Character
My games focus on...
Story, but not just one that I am telling. It has to have Player Choice at every step and their Characters need to have more say on their lives then just their personal thoughts and feelings. A story that is more told through collaborative brainstorming instead of being a immersive conversation!
Jamie's ideal table
My ideal table-style is one where people feel comfortable talking within a large group without feeling like they don’t have a place or say. But is also comfortable enough to go off to the side and befriend one another as well as come to me with any concerns privately so that we can learn to be friends as all RPG games should feel when you stop rolling dice for the night!
