Hi! I’m Ben, or GM Bent One. I’ll be your storyteller and guide through many adventures to come. I have always been a storyteller at heart and the creative freedom to build a world and tell stories together is an experience like no other. TTRPGs have genuinely changed my life for the better, and I want to keep sharing that feeling! I'm fueled by a love of fantasy, sci fi, comic book action, and Better Call Saul levels of chicanery.

How Ben runs games
My GMing style focuses heavily on role play and improv scenes based on what the players choose to do and which NPCs they decide to interact with. I love when the game goes off the rails and we get up to some shenanigans. It’s easy for me to steer us back when it makes sense after things get a little crazy. Your actions have an impact of the course of the story, whether in a published module or a homebrew campaign. I also want to make the game about your characters. I always work to fully integrate character backstories into whatever game I am running. I’m a big fan of foreshadowing and mystery, as well as allowing for epic character moments. I’m willing to stretch the rules for “Rule of Cool” feats. If there’s something you want to do, I’ll do my best to see if we can make it happen. I also will not tolerate sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, or anything like that in my games. To make sure that we can play games that everyone enjoys and is comfortable with, I will always use RPG safety tools.
