I run my own setting, Azoria, which is very novel, perfect for anyone wanting something new and different but still fantasy. I got my start when 3e was released with veteran 1e/2e players, and have been playing ever since. I started running games only a year later. I am a bit old school in mindset, which means wide variety of difficulty among encounters, monsters are not always to be fought, and I focus my GM calls based on the fictional world over the mechanics.

GM Style

I fill a middle niche of sorts. I run with an old school 1e/2e like mindset, though slightly less deadly, but with moderate crunch mechanics like DnD 3.5. I run games for those using wits and who know why bringing flour and a 10' pole on an expedition is a good idea. Encounters come in a wide range of difficulties including encounters that you simply can't beat head on (either try some truly creative tactics, or the encounter becomes one of trying to successfully run away). I also trend towards more novelty and new ideas, so if all these fantasy worlds are feeling a bit too similar, my worlds bring the unique concepts. I do voices, but until I can afford better equipment than my phone, it's all just voice chat and occasional images on a discord server. I've never done social media outside of discord, hence the lack of such links. I've run sessions up to 16 hours, and will happily run long sessions but as that's an all day thing that interferes with other money-making activities, I charge an extra $30 divided among the players, for every 2 hours beyond a 6 hour session. If you bring more than four players, I'll discount the cost, so bring friends! I'll run up to 8 players. More is negotiable. I'm pretty flexible, if you have any unusual things you want to try.
