About Tee
I have played dnd for many years, swapping online in 2020. Before that, I played with a group of friends every week, and at club at school. When I left, and the campaign finished, I decided that I should run games for other people, and came over to Start Playing!

I got started GMing...
As a replacement for the forever dm of my campaign, who passed on the curse. I started running games at my school, and when I left, I came on to Start Playing!
My favorite shows/movies are
Dune and The Expanse inspire all of my more scifi/far realms work, and are amazing stories in general. Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones are cornerstones for me in a fantasy context, shaping magic, and factions in my campaigns respectively
When I'm not running games I'm...
Busy revising for exams! Im also interested in F1 (go Mercedes!) and help in the Scouting community
How Tee runs games
The rules feel to me like guidelines for telling a certain kind of story. If you can think of a reasonable way of solving a problem, then I believe it should be allowed, and in my experience, that creates a even more interesting situation than it would've otherwise! I voice all of my characters, but my maps, and vtt set ups are my main selling point, adding a new level to the immersion my games bring. Storytelling and roleplay end up being the basis of any session I run, with combat and exploration pillars, building upon it.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Denis Villeneuve, with lots of wide angle shots of the characters, as they face a giant enemy, in front of a muted backdrop, every move made being deliberate
Tee's ideal table
I like to run a lighthearted game, where the rules are seen more as guidelines on how to do cool things, but nothing over the top. If something you plan on doing requires something to be in the right place, then it should be! We can all tell a story, not just the GM

I love it when a player
Finds a solution to a problem I didnt expect! I always find it creates more exiting situations, and leads the story in a new direction
I think metagaming...
Just makes the game worse. I will change stats slightly anyway, but I will more so if I believe a player is metagaming. It ruins the experience for other players, and the metagaming player, so I try to limit it as much as possible
