About Stix
Hey, folks! I'm Stix (he/they), a lifelong fantasy nerd and experienced full-time game master. As a performer and a content creator, I've engaged audiences both virtually and in person for over a quarter century, and nowhere have I enjoyed it more than when collaborating on a great session at the gaming table. My latest project, "The Living Multiverse," is comprised of a number of campaigns in a shared setting (resembling a large West Marches campaign). Stories will intertwine, party lineups can overlap, and your every action can have consequences reaching into other planes of existence.

How Stix runs games
“Elder Scrolls meets Dragon Age” is my intended experience, and “verisimilitude” is my magic word! (Honestly, if you’re trying to guess the command word to an enchanted item in one of my games, you could do worse.) I strive for a living, growing, changing world comprised of many moving parts. My first priority in crafting my typical RPG campaign is to create a lifelike and interactive setting, empowering you, the player, with full agency to interact and explore with whatever interests you on your own terms. This means: * A believable, immersive world filled with plot hooks, rumors, opportunity, and reward * NPCs with distinct voices, personalities, and goals * Far-reaching consequences for your decisions * Open communication to tailor gameplay to your interests Even in one-shot games, I prefer to let the PCs pursue their goals through their own methods, however unconventional they may be… and, no matter the game or edition, I will *always* bend the rules in favor of a more engaging and exciting story. Above all, you’re here to have fun, and my priority is to make sure that you do! Let’s talk about what appeals to you. I’ll happily adapt the game experience to emphasize the aspects you enjoy most - dramatic roleplaying, ferocious combat, intrigue, puzzles, and more. One important note: Making the game an enjoyable experience for everyone is *everyone’s* job. Everyone at the [virtual] table is expected to treat everyone with decency and respect at all times, without exception.
