Been adventuring with DJ for a few months now. An extremely engaged DM that is truly invested in their players having a great time. Fosters open dialogue in and out of character that makes it easy to stay invested and promote team dynamics. Definitely open to the rule of cool and some of my favorite PC moments have happened in his games. At any level you'll feel welcome in his games.

DJ has been my DM for a few months in a Dragonlance setting. He curated a lovely adventure, tailoring the world to let us all have a chance to feel enmeshed in the setting, have our heroic moments, and work together to solve puzzles. He's been very considerate, making sure everyone feels safe and well-informed along the way, with really clear expectations and good documentation. It was my first time using Avrae and he has been incredibly patient in showing me how to do what I want to achieve, keeping combat running smoothly and prevent the tools from becoming too clunky. I feel invested in the world, the characters and NPCs, and I'm looking forward to continuing with him on our next adventure.

Dj is a wonderful DM who takes special care in not only their games but also, how attentive and generous they are to their players. They were very welcoming and informative with their Dragon Lance game, a setting I'm not entirely familiar with but they did a wonderful job of making my character feel included and well integrated into the setting. Dj is great at keeping open lines of communication with players, their gaming space crafted with care to ensure everyone's voice is heard. They were always prepared for games, with clear expectations on when we would play, table conduct and the storyline the group hoped to follow. With the gaming tools used, Dj was both knowledgeable and patient to help anyone who needed help. If you're looking for someone to run an exciting adventure in a safe space, look no further and play with DJ! :)
