About Simi
I'm Overseer Simi and as the title implies I'm a Game Master that dedicates his time exclusively playing the Fallout RPG. It started roughly 3 years ago when there was only the core book and starter set, I picked it up and never looked back at other systems. After the ol' scheduling issue with my IRL friends I started looking for people to play with online and played my first games over discord and by now I have had the pleasure to play and run lots of games online over the past few years and made some great friends. Check out the section about my GM style if you want to know how one of my games looks. I use FoundryVTT to give you a smooth gaming experience (Less math more playtime!) How Simi runs games
My games take place on FoundryVTT and we use Discord for voice. I also use tools integrated in Foundry for the Character sheets, AP tracker, combat maps and we use dice roller bots to roll our die all in the same place! Once it is game time all you need is to hop in the discord call, I'll send you the link to the virtual table where your character sheet is and our game will take place. I start my sessions with a short recap of the last session and an introduction to the new one. Once the action starts and you have to make a skill test you can roll using your automatically calculating character sheet and we can all cheer with you if your roll is good. I like to balance the roleplaying with some combat so you can expect me pull up the map which I make myself before the session using map making software and you can add your token. During combat you can expect me to stick to the rules as written. In fallout2d20 the Overseer(GM) generates AP (threat points) just like the player. I diversify the way I use it tailored to the adversary I am playing. A wild territorial animal might spend it all at once explosively in a display of dominance to simulate a wild animals inability to regulate adrenaline whereas a human foe might keep some juice in the tank to make a retreat if things go sideways. A session usually takes 3 hours. After the session I'll stick around for another 15 minutes to chat about the game.
