About Shammo

I've been a professional DM for twenty years, starting with groups in my area and then branching out slowly. I've worked with all kinds of players from those on their tenth years-long campaign to those who aren't even sure what exactly the game is, but want to give it a try. I'm a storyteller, voice enthusiast, songwriter, former school teacher, and (technical) theater kid. I'm neurodivergent (ADHD) and non-binary, and excited for how games can reach and connect people in new ways. I've spoken at conventions and led workshops on how to make better puzzles. I want to share everything I've learned from so many different games, and how these lessons can be used to help tell even better stories together.
