I've realized that everything in my life has to do something with storytelling. I am an educator and a writer who grew up on both Tolkien's books and Star Wars on VHS tapes. I express my love for the worlds of fantasies through GM'ing for friends and family. What leads me as a GM is the thought that the RPG is a story we tell together, and the joy is to see it unfold through the shared collective imagination.
I love a game focused on narrative, mystery, character arcs and plot-twists. I've built a fantasy world called Adenlore, and my high fantasy campaigns revolve around it, and overlap with one another. What to expect from me: - Narrative-driven adventures in rich worlds - Sensitivity toward new players, diverse identities, and interests - Voice acting: an emphasis on dialect and accent - Collaboration with the players - it's OUR STORY, not mine - "You can certainly try" / "rule of cool" - we don't play TTRPG to hear "no, you can't". What NOT to expect: - Rule-lawyering - Combat-oriented tactical battles - To know every rule in every page of every book - To know your character better than you
