Semper is incredible! I'm in a play-by-post game of his, and he is incredibly responsive. He matches your pace as a player, though I'd say he's better with players who are fast, because he is a fast writer. I've never done a live voice game with him, but with his speed, I'm sure he's great with his voice games as well, able to improv on the fly. I started in a group game, then moved to a duet when the group fell apart due to some players have IRL. We continued the narrative though! He and I are both excited for the twist that is coming with my character; he's got something planned, I can tell! His NPCs are super varied and responsive--from wholesome friends to cruel and cold enemies--and he has his own twist on the worlds he runs (in this case, Shadow of the Dragon Queen). He can appeal to a player who is very specific about the lore, or one who is very loose in the lore (and is willing to adjust for his players).

Sempre is a dedicated GM that gives the best PbP experience that I’ve had because he tries to be as active as possible. Have a “poetic text”, uses good illustrations and follows the “rule of cool”

If you haven’t played PbP games, don’t worry Semper is very patient with new players, especially those new to playing by post, as the mechanics are a bit different. He is extremely responsive to the game and any pings outside of gameplay. World building is expansive, brings enjoyment to the group. Lots of well-dimensioned NPCs to add flavor.

If Semper is offering a game you are interested in—do not hesitate: go for it! We are in a published campaign, and he makes it seem as though it is his own. He does a great job giving each time for RP while moving the story along. Balancing things so all characters can act, chip in, do something… Very enjoyable!
