GM Style

Hello there! My name is Scott. Let me tell you a little about my games. :) First of all, I love meeting people and spreading the love of roleplaying. Beginners are very welcome, and there is never a need to know the system or game world. I like one-shots where the hook is clear and compelling, but the outcome is open ended. The spotlight's on you! You and your fellow players will guide the story—my job is to keep up and make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Expect theatre of the mind, not mechanics and minis. When combat comes up, it'll be quick and narrative. You'll enjoy freedom to describe actions and the outcomes—good and bad. At my tables, a "level 0" character is just as enjoyable to play as a "level 100" character. Fun stories aren't always about being the toughest and strongest. Mechanics are embraced that enhance the story, never slow it down. Most of our time will be spent in dialogue, so bring your energy, accents, and improv. I provide a custom website for each game—video conferencing built right in. We'll share an atmosphere full of evocative music, mood-setting graphics, and as much immersion as you can get from an online game.
