My name is Rusty, I'm a dedicated forever-DM and an avid worldbuilder. I'm making my passion into my livelihood as a professional Dungeon Master. As a DM I provide a strong role-play experience with a lot of freedom and player driven action. In short, I'm an excellent improvisational storyteller with a detailed world that I've been building for thirty years. My world is populated with fully fleshed out and memorable characters, mysterious locations, and rich lore waiting to be uncovered by intrepid adventurers. In the world of Ansalem, even the seemingly familiar creatures and races of D&D are imbued with rich histories and dark secrets, weaving the strange and familiar into a rich tapestry of unique lore. *Enter the world of Ansalem, a realm still reeling from the malign transformative effects of "The Miasma" a mysterious fog that changed the face of the world forever and vanished as mysteriously as it had arrived. *Choose from a number of unique races, each with their own histories. Familiar races like elves or gnomes, have unique lore that sets them apart from those on other worlds. Be a seafaring elvish reaver, a plains barbarian, a cunning changeling or even an enigmatic oren, the alien dwellers of the deep woods. *Be a part of a dynamic and ever-changing world. The deeds of your hero will echo throughout the realm, changing the course of history and impacting the adventures of other players and their heroes. For better... or worse. *No rails, our heroes are free to go where they choose, and tackle challenges in any manner they choose. I create scenarios not solutions. I don't have a plan for how the characters will beat the BBEG, creating and executing a plan is up to you. You're free to explore the world of Ansalem however you see fit, if you say "sod the quest" and march into an unknown part of the world we will discover what's there together. I strive to create a unique and engaging experience for my players in a world that feels truly alive, and I hope that you will join us there.
