About me
As a lifelong fan of D&D, I discovered the game as a young boy in the 90s and have been hooked ever since. I've played every edition of the game, including the classic D&D Advanced. My high school years may be a blur, but I'll never forget when I took down a Beholder. But as I grew older, life got in the way, and it became difficult to find time to play. Now, with Startplaying, I have the tools to support my dream of creating immersive and engaging RPG experiences for players. Whether you're a new player or an old-timer, a spellcaster, or a sword-wielder, I invite you to join me on a journey filled with dragons, fairies, and evil sorcerers. Together, we'll explore a world of danger and adventure, and I'll be there every step of the way, dice in hand.
GM Style
As a Game Master, my main focus is to strike a balance between role-playing and combat, ensuring a consistent pace throughout the game. I place a strong emphasis on group dynamics and treat each session as a blend of a movie and a comic book, adding humor when appropriate but also maintaining a level of intensity during crucial moments of the story. I prefer to stick to the rules as written (RAW) and give players a lot of freedom in character creation. To enhance the immersive experience, I use ambient music and create visually stunning maps with lighting effects and line-of-sight vision. I always come well-prepared to each adventure, ensuring the best possible experience for all players.

My 3rd campaign playing DnD (the other two are still ongoing) so I'm still a novice. Org was welcoming and brought some NPCs to life. Willing to work with you outside of the session time so the session is focused on playing. Seamlessly integrated my PC into the existing (level 8) party. Gave me some lore to read and what to avoid to avoid spoilers. Will be finishing this campaign with Org and signing up for the next one with him.

Orgulthar is a fantastic DM. I'm a beginner D&D player and it was important for me to find a beginner friendly DM. Orgulthar has provided an inclusive/safe beginner friendly environment to play D&D. Orgulthar has been so patient answering any questions I had, excellent at teaching the rules and mechanics of the game and platform he uses (fantasy grounds), letting me explore and be creative, and encouraging my curiosity by supplying me, the player, and my character(s) with plenty of buttons to push (had some real fun challenges and outcomes for pushing buttons).

This was my first experience using StartPlaying and so far I'm having an amazing time! The story telling has been incredibly creative and the way the DM has put a group of strangers into a situation where teamwork is essential really bonds the group in a fun and exciting way! I'm looking forward to playing in the following weeks to come!
