I got started GMing...
In Highschool a couple buddies were really interested in 3.5 at the time and I had actually played at my local game store so being the most knowledgeable of us I took on the task and have loved GMing ever since
People are always surprised when I tell them
That I don't have a bias towards one system or another even when it comes to D&D I am happy to play any edition or even Pathfinder. A lot of people have found this surprising given most people favor one system to another and I personally just love all ttrpgs no matter the system.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Playing through another RPG or being dragged through a CO-OP game with a friend I love getting to explore new worlds and video games have been a great outlet for that
How Roxy Pantle runs games
My GM style is one that takes on a high roleplay primarily while also doing my best to create an exciting combat experience when it comes up.

I deal with rules issues by...
having a conversation, taking everyone's thoughts on a rule, their interpretations and making a new decision based on the tables general feel about the rule at discussion.
My games focus on...
Roleplay, I want people getting into character felling like they are part of the world and enjoying the campaign to the fullest.
Rules are...
there to help make the game more fun. if a rule is taking away from the fun of a table I may consider not using that rule.
Roxy Pantle's ideal table
My ideal table would have player's that love roleplay who want to embody their character and get lost in whatever setting may be presented before them.

I love it when a player
Find's an unconventional solution to a puzzle or problem. rather than just cutting everything in your way down finding unique or fun ways around a problem make me jump with joy.
I think it's a red flag when players...
Don't feel sad about a PC death. I feel as a DM there being a disconnect between the player and their characters is important and that if a character ends up dying in combat that they want to find ways to bring them back or are saddened by the loss. those emotions help bring worlds to life.
My perfect party mix is
What makes the players happy. I don't think there's a perfectly ideal party for any campaign or setting but I do think a party where everyone is having fun, that is what a perfect party looks like.
