Greetings! My name is Ryan, I have around 8 years of experience with Dungeons and Dragons 5e, most of which was off and on. Around 4 years ago however, I began DM-ing significantly more, running at least 2 games a week. Nonetheless, I have experience with both homebrew and module-based settings. I'm a rather easy-going DM all things considered, and a very staunch believer in "Flavor is free" and "The rule of cool."

How Ryan runs games
I enjoy both high roleplay and high combat campaigns. typically, in the session 0, I take polls to see what the players prefer. usually I do make an effort to balance things out so there is a healthy mix of both combat and roleplay. Personally, I do tend to like darker settings more often then not. While occasionally ill run something more positive, I am a fan of more spooky or dramatic settings like Curse of Strahd
