About me

My name is Rob and I'm a Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) veteran. I have over 20 years of playing a variety of different genre-based games. With 6 years of experience DMing various campaigns (and a little over 4 years of GM experience with other TTRPGs), I still have that burning passion for D&D! I specialize in teaching D&D (5e) to hungry players willing to learn either 1-on-1 or as a group. I teach players how to create and roll up their characters the "manual" way where they can dive into the Player's Handbook to become comfortable and familiar with the contents in building up a character based on race, class, background, and the associated weapons, armor, and equipment that comes equipped with their newly created character. After their characters are created, they will be able to test, practice, and experience an actual D&D adventure that I will put them through so that they become comfortable and confident with the D&D gameplay mechanics involving role-playing, combat, and exploration. I also host D&D One-Shots, pre-made adventures, and home-brewed campaigns when they become available. GM Style

In terms of my GM style, it's between a sensible, personable, pragmatic, creative, fun approach involving an even mix of roleplaying (mild to deep), exploration, some crunchy tactical combat, and some puzzle-solving is how I operate. My goal is always to see all my players have a lot of fun while I'm having fun. This is my 'vibe standard' at my virtual table.
