About Michael R.
Hello, I am an experience gamemaster with over twenty years of experience. I have run for new players, veteran players, and all in between. I have experience with even unwilling players who volunteered via a lottery system at my old high school. My primary game of choice is Dungeon and Dragons at the moment, mostly because I have the most tools for it, but I love roleplaying games and am always learning new games, and systems to expand my knowledge and and capabilities as a Gamemaster. I am a very open gamemaster, who prefers to use my player's ideas to improve our stories together. I am a big fan of living worlds, and I try to make complex and rewarding stories when my players want it.

How Michael R. runs games
I am a big fan of roleplaying first, combat second, and board exploration third. I am a fan of every aspect however, and would never prevent my players from exploring an aspect they enjoy. My greatest skill, and sometimes a weakness is my ability to make a Living, Consistent World. I want the player's actions to matter, their inaction, and for the world to also continue and build around them as well. Not every action is a reaction to the players, but a living and breathing community for them to interact with. I am really into working with my players to make the game as personalized as possible without going into the game-breaking category. I am not a proud GM who needs their game or story to be gospel, and I make no mistakes. I am here for my players enjoyment, and if that means hard, crunchy combat, or long complex intruiges I am here to craft the stories you want to play.
