About Rein
Experienced GM with over 1000 hours of hosting games both online and in person. I always look to elevate my games through sound, music and visuals to ensure that my players feel as immersed online as they would if we were playing in person. I have a good set-up so that the technical quality should never faulter. As for the stories I tell. They can be both dark and light-hearted, fantasy-epic or horror, RP or combat heavy. What is always the same is my focus on rewarding my players and making sure that, while being fair, your creativity isn't held back by the rules of the system.

How Rein runs games
Deep and creative RP and always ready and welcoming to all player shenanigans. Quick and flashy combat, often theatre of mind. Well versed in the rules of the system so that I can make quick and fair calls when and when not to break them. Rule of cool reigns supreme at my tables. I love to reward players with advantage to rolls if their actions are fun, creative or just awesome. I always incorporate music into my games, sometimes even timing it down to a specific monologue if I'm feeling extra. But at the very least expect some shared, lovely ambience or combat drums to immerse us all. In longer campaigns I am always character first and love to incorporate and focus on character moments and backstory. While prepping for each session I always try to find a way to let each pc have a moment that is theirs, as far as the dice and character choices allow. I am quick to change things on the fly to accommodate especially egregious or.. ehm.. "special" player decisions and have, for example, completely improvised an entire city lockdown and chase sequence through crowded streets involving an entire army of soldiers due to unforeseen or unaccounted-for player actions, quite successfully I might add.
