About me

I've been fairly lucky with the GMs and players that I've found online. I've sat at my computer and listen to great storytellers, weavers of intrigue and plot and put life's trouble and tribulations aside for a time. I've made friends that I've remained in contact with for almost 10 years and I've come to the realisation that I'd like to do similar for others. I've been a great enjoyer of the Forged in the Dark system since I first played Blades in the Dark. I found it elegantly simple and a great introduction to people looking to dip their toes into the TTRPG world. Since my first game, I've played in multiple adaptations such as A Fistful of Darkness, Band of Blades and Scum and Villainy. Now I want to create my own stories for other players, both newcomers and long-running veterans. I'm a dedicated GM who is welcoming and patient with new players to the system, and I put in the work to make enjoyable campaigns for my players.

GM Style

I'm a fairly relaxed GM. I appreciate clever thinking from my players and I love when my players are invested in the world, the NPCs and their characters. I would personally say that I am quite good at doing character voices, though I don't request my players to do one unless they feel comfortable doing so. I enjoy roleplaying games, which is one of the main reasons that I particularly like to run the Forged in the Dark system and its various hacks as I find that it cuts down on getting lost in overly crunchy mechanics.
