About me

I love Dungeons and Dragons! My love of fantasy realms comes from my early introduction to Tolkien. Then, it was years before I found the Dragonlance Chronicles. Sturm Brightblade was a sculpting block for my interpretation of heroic virtue. My love of the fantasy world was rekindled in my late twenties when I began collecting books. I fell in love with Tannith Lee's writing style, but her subject matter often led to the darkest interpretations of humanity. I explored many different worlds and characters created by Heinlein, Clarke, Asimov, and many others. In the real world, I am a married guy who is trying to build a business. I had taken a break from Dungeons and Dragons because my group disbanded and I didn't realize there was such a large community for the game. In the past I have run maybe a dozen games as the D&D transitioned from 3.5 to 4e. Many were hosted on rpol. A couple were good long-term campaigns that were crucial in fleshing the character and details of the realm of Gira.

GM style

I love playing with new and experienced players alike! My goal is to provide a fun and entertaining game with memorable characters and moments. I host my games using Roll20, providing custom battle maps with dynamic lighting. Players can communicate pre and post session using Discord, where I will host a dedicated channel for the game. We will use Zoom to communicate. Players will need a decent mic, in a quiet setting.
