About Bailey
A little peer into my life! I'm a dad, avid gamer of things like Dishonored/Skyrim/Baldurs Gate, reader of Fantasy Fiction like the Inheritance Cycle, a Magic The Gathering nerd, and crafter of baubles (3D printing)! I've been a paid DM for something like 6 years, and am excited to meet more people interested in the hobby! I pride myself on befriending everyone from all walks of life and beliefs.

How Bailey runs games
I suppose you're here to decide if I'm your type of DM or not, so I'll strive to help you decide! I enjoy a good mix of all parts of D&D, between Combat, RP, and Exploration. I find my games lean towards combat, and roleplay, with Exploration mostly being a world map discovery. I also strive to add things to find in dungeons, like secret rooms or hidden puzzles that make the dungeon easier. I try as best i can to do voices and match my players in 1st or 3rd person perspectives. When it comes to the rules, I prefer to stick to the spirit of them as much as possible. There's room for Rule of Cool moments, but they need to be thematic! I also like to lay out the expectation that such events only work once. I find this helps to establish expectations on what characters can do, and help smooth out decision making. I'm also always willing to discuss rules with players, and appreciate being reminded, but full discussions should happen outside of session. Trust me to know what I'm doing ;)
