About me
I've been playing dungeons and dragons going on over 30+ years now. I'm a born storyteller who loves to DM for players who are likewise passionate about bringing their characters to life. Beyond the dice I am a college Professor and High School teacher of history and I love to leverage my knowledge of real world mythologies to create a more robust fantasy experience! My games are all run out of Foundry VTT, which I am happy to provide instruction on. Its a great gaming tool and I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience it provides!
GM Style
I love the personalization and freedom of TTRPGs as an opportunity for players to weave their own stories into the fantasy worlds we inhabit. I try to provide a strong mix of narrative storytelling, memorable NPCs and tactical combat for players to wrap their characters around. My preferred gaming style is a story driven campaign that provides multiple avenues for PCs to solve problems, find victory and live their character's stories. PCs in my game become part of the world itself, rising to become legends of their own making as they struggle against the forces set against them.

I was skeptical of the VTT not being able to capture some of the "magic" you can create with your friends around a table, but I've found that Jay's campaign is MORE engaging than the in-person sessions I'm used to. Expert story telling, music, sound effects, custom animations and voice lines--the environment is deftly crafted for your complete immersion. 10/10 would recommend.

Jay is always improving the user experience to add cool animations, voice lines, images, etc. to make the best immersive gameplay you didn't know you wanted. Always pick Jay and you won't be led astray.

It is an amazing campaign with a fantastic DM. Prof. Jay pulls out all the stops with his Foundry wizardry to make playing an immersive experience. The story itself is filled with plot, and our party has been charting its own course throughout the adventure. Prof. Jay is deft at adjusting on the fly to whatever rabbit we pull out of the hat. And his storytelling is exceptional. I will be looking for more of Prof. Jay's campaigns in the future!
