My favorite books are
Anything by Brandon Sanderson. Specifically, era 1 and 2 of the Mistborn Series and The Stormlight Saga. Also a huge fan of the Wheel of Time series, which was concluded with the writings of Brandon Sanderson.
My favorite system of all Time is
Pathfinder 1st Edition. I personally own every hardback that was printed for the system, as well as a significant majority of the paperback adventure paths.

How Professor DM runs games
I run the table like a storyteller-poet, weaving alliteration, imagery, and metaphor into every moment. My games balance cinematic drama with playful irreverence, where tension and humor coexist in perfect, Pathfinder-powered chaos. As a DM, I emphasize player agency, building worlds that respond to character choices and encouraging collaboration over constraint. His narration paints scenes in bold strokes, while his approach to rules is structured but flexible, prioritizing immersion and flow over minutiae. A session with me feels like stepping into an epic ballad told by someone who delights equally in worldbuilding, wit, and watching his players shape the fate of kingdoms.

Professor DM's ideal table
I run Pathfinder 1st Edition campaigns with 3-4 hour sessions. I'm passionate about PF1e's depth and tactical richness, and I believe the system shines when we engage with its mechanics meaningfully. My games adapt to the story being told and what my players enjoy. Sessions might be combat-heavy dungeon crawls one week and intrigue-focused roleplay the next—I let the narrative and party interests guide the balance. While I appreciate serious, dramatic moments, the overall tone flexes to match the group's energy. I run rules-as-written to maintain consistency and balance, but I actively encourage creative problem-solving through the Hero Points system (Advanced Player's Guide). Epic moments and clever thinking get rewarded. If a rule dispute comes up, I ask the challenging player to look it up so we can resolve it quickly and keep the game moving. The atmosphere at my table sits comfortably in the middle ground. We're focused when it matters, but there's room for laughter and banter. I value immersion without demanding theatrical performances. We're here to tell a story together and have a good time doing it. This table isn't the place for party conflict or PvP. Everyone here is playing together, not against each other. Conflict between characters breeds contempt between players, and that's not the experience I want to create. We're all here to enjoy our time, and your fellow players' fun is just as important as your own. If you're looking for a group that takes Pathfinder seriously (but not too seriously), values tactical play alongside creative storytelling, and believes the party succeeds or fails together, you might be exactly who I'm looking for.

I think it's a red flag when players...
...create characters designed to disrupt the party or work against the group.
I think min/maxing...
...part of the creation process.
My table is not the place for...
...overt sexual scenes, or party conflict. Let's maintain a welcoming atmosphere and avoid unnecessary tension.
