About me

Hey there! My name is Chris, and I'm a game master from Dublin, Ireland. I'm in my early 20's, and I've been playing and running TTRPGs for over 5 years for my college and friends, racking up over 2000 hours behind the screen. I've mainly ran 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons, but I also ran Cyberpunk Red, and countless mini Indie game campaigns. My players have often complimented the creativity and ingenuity that my sessions include, as well as the fun and immersive feeling they leave each game with. I love making my own worlds, monsters, magic, puzzles and anything else that I can make my own. By the end of my sessions I strive to evoke a certain feeling within each player, whether that be excitement, joy, sadness, or even a simple exclamation of "Woah!" I make most, if not all, of my encounter and world maps myself, either by hand digitally or with Dungeondraft, to make sure each area is personally hand-crafted to allow your creativity to flourish. I love players who express themselves in cool ways, and think of wild strategies to overcome their obstacles. While I don't require any players to do character voices or heavy roleplaying, I always try and push myself to create both fun and memorable NPCs for them to latch onto with voices, descriptions and, rarely, some costume pieces. I strive to be inclusive to all demographics, be it age, gender identity or TTRPG experience, and to share my love of these games to all who will listen. I know that daunting feeling when first starting out, being scared to reach out and find people to run a game, and being shy and reclusive when you're at the table. I hope to alleviate these worries for newcomers, while giving the experienced a good challenge. So, whether you're a new player looking for people to teach you the ways of tabletop, or a veteran looking to roleplay your heart out, I hope you consider joining me, because a great time is just a dice roll away.

GM Style

I like to allow players to express their characters through clever roleplaying, cunning tactics and fun character building. I generally run a rules as written style of game, however I will bend this philosophy if it both makes sense and enhances the gaming experience. I like to do character voices and make NPCs you meet come to life. Player safety and comfort is a big priority for me. I'll challenge you, but everything that may be uncomfortable to you will be discussed in a session 0 / an onboarding session.
