Well met, stranger! *Raises mug* I’m Paulo, hailing from (mostly) sunny Portugal - have you visited? I’ve been Game-Mastering for my friends for almost 10 years now and it's been a blast. I read - too much. Currently, I’m on book three of The Expanse and gearing up for book two of The Three-Body Problem. Got some new fantasy suggestions? I haven't read Sanderson yet. I don’t play as much as I used to, but I’ve always loved a good story, from the old point-and-click LucasArts adventures to Control, which I devoured recently. That said, I’m also a shameless Civilization addict. I've been running The One Ring for a while as well as trying other systems: Alien (with a new refreshed 1.5e coming soon), Blades in the Dark, Mouseguard and FFGs Star Wars.

GM Style

We're crafting a tale together - you and I, in a world where I don’t want you to feel like a guest. My games are OPEN to the players, both in choice and exploration. I do some voices (always open to improvement), but I go all-out on ambiance, using sound, images, and description to draw you in. Combat, strategy, the balance of X or Y, we decide that as a group. Some will want to brawl, others will prefer the sights and lore. I’m flexible and always willing to step out of my comfort zone to try something new. As a GM, I focus on the moment, the tension, and the choice. I challenge characters with tough decisions and push players to the next level. I want to experience my game through *your* perspective, so I’ll go as far as you’re willing to take it. We set the boundaries - beyond that, anything goes. Expect the unexpected. I like to get to know my players before we even start. I'll want to chat about past experiences, expectations, and the love (or hate) of a particular die, mechanic or setting. I don’t run D&D, but wait, waaaait - don’t go just yet! Have you heard of The One Ring, Alien or Star Wars RPG? Now THAT I'm game. Join me in Middle-Earth, become a Dwarf, fall in love, and unravel the mysteries of the Sleepless Eye. Or maybe you’d rather hire me as your pilot while we take the *Rocinante* to explore the galaxy or better yet, touch down on LV-426? Who knows what we might find… *wink wink*.
