About me

🔷 Hey, I'm Pixel! I took an interest in TTRPGs that quickly turned into an obsession in 2016 when a close friend ran a game of Pathfinder Kingmaker for our usual gaming group. We were no longer bound by the typical 4 social options of video game RPGs, or restricted in our actions based on what was coded in. We could do ANYTHING and I want to share that freedom with you. 🔶 I found myself consumed by the TTRPG genre, running one-shots and small campaigns for my friends with a fast and loose understanding of the rules. It was then I discovered Critical Role and what I saw still inspires me today. A DM capable of creating an experience for and with their players. I was done simply telling stories, I wanted to live them.

🔷 IMMERSION! I strive to have players feel like THEY did something, not their character. Maps that scroll endlessly, underwater scenes coupled with the sounds of waves, and world maps with clouds passing overhead are just a few of the things you can regularly expect at my table to bring you into the experience and create those memorable moments. 🔶 I mainly do homebrew sandbox-styled games, meaning my games don't typically follow a book or a module and our story is not predefined. The NPCs, quests, and environments are based on player backstories ensuring that your character is not a part of the story, they ARE the story! 🔷 You determine our game balance! I can do crunchy combat, political roleplay, extensive lore, and far-reaching exploration. Don't feel like fighting the dragon and would rather run a tavern? Awesome!
