About Nuno Andrade
I've been running D&D for 8 years — from chaotic homebrew one-shots to a full level 1–20 campaign that my players still talk about. My sessions combine tactical, meaningful combat with player-driven storytelling in worlds I've built from scratch. My journey started in 2015, inspired by actual-play content and Brazilian creators who shaped how I think about pacing, narrative, and table dynamics. I became a GM in 2018 and haven't stopped since — running multi-arc campaigns, developing homebrew settings, and constantly refining how I design encounters and structure stories. I adapt to the table in front of me: whether your group lives for tactical combat, deep roleplay, open-world exploration, or all three, I'll find the rhythm that works. My goal is simple — create sessions that feel cinematic, choices that feel real, and a campaign you'll still remember years from now. 🎲 Loyalty Discount: Bring a group of 4+ players, or stick around long enough — every 5th session is on me. That's a 20% discount built into every campaign, including Session Zero. Message me on Discord (nunohfa) to get started.

I became a GM because
Watching actual-play content made me realize I wanted to be the one crafting the world, to make the shenanigans on my mind be played by crazy lunatics. In 2018 I ran my first game, by the end of that session I was hooked. Eight years and one full level 1–20 campaign later, I've never looked back.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Intense, creative, and adaptable. Whether we're deep in a tense negotiation or a boss fight that nearly wiped the party, I bring full investment to every scene — and I adjust on the fly to match what the table needs in that moment.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Planning them! Or developing my own world [THE CONTINENT] or Games (I do some game developing myself). Else I'm either programming something or playing some games with the Bois, just the usual fun between old friends.
How Nuno Andrade runs games
I have a saying at my table: “We are playing Dungeons & Dragons. If we are not in the dungeon, we MUST be slaying the dragons!” This means combat is always part of the game—but how, when, and why you fight is up to the party. I balance roleplay and combat as core pillars, adapting to the flow of the table (D&D and Pathfinder). Roleplay scenes exist as long as players want them to. I keep social and downtime moments light and purposeful—no endless haggling or forced conversations. You engage with the world at your own pace. Combat is meaningful and often dangerous. I’m fair but ruthless: bosses and mini-bosses feature unique mechanics that reward creativity, tactics, and teamwork. I prefer sandbox-style campaigns with player-driven choices and milestone leveling, but I’m comfortable guiding the story when needed. If you want a world that reacts to your choices and fights that actually test you — you're in the right place.

I once ran a session...
...where a single player decision flipped the entire campaign's political arc, triggered a boss fight nobody was prepared for, and ended with half the table in stunned silence. That was mid-campaign. They still talk about it. That's the kind of session I aim for every time.
Rules are...
Bullet Points. They exist to be followed, and checked. That said, creativity and ingenuity need to be rewarded, regardless of the rules!
When it comes to voices
I like to do them, but I'm no voice actor! The objective is to make some accents and make the important NPCs unique! Maybe you don't like making voices or hearing others speaking in some gibberish, but worry not just talk things out, and everyone will be our standard "Dave D20", no problem!
Nuno Andrade's ideal table
My table runs best when players show up curious, ready to make choices that matter, and willing to engage with both the story and each other. You don't need to be a rules expert — I'll handle that. You just need to be present and invested. I keep things fun and low-drama. We're all here to play, so the one real expectation is: respect the people at the table.

I love it when a player
...looks at a boss's mechanics and asks "what if we tried this?" instead of just rolling to attack. Creative problem-solving in combat is what makes my encounters come alive — I design for it, and I reward it.
I think min/maxing...
Is awesome! You don't need to do it though, RPGs are not competitive, they are meant to bring fun to you and all the other players. If your fun is exploding a Dragon in 1 Round, do IT!
My perfect party mix is
- The Joker (The funny guy who likes to lighten the mood) - The Bonker (ENEMY MOVE, I BONK, NO MAGIC) - Figure with the Glasses (The one that is using magic and doing complicated things and is always saying to the Bonker that he can do more than just bonk his way out of things) - YOU! Come and play!
