About Nikola Maric
I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs since I was 12 and have spent more than six years behind the GM screen, running games for friends as well as groups through local universities and libraries. My favorite campaigns are the ones where players are given room to experiment. I want you to build the character you actually want to play, pursue your own goals, and leave a permanent mark on the world. I’ve played and run systems ranging from D&D and both editions of Pathfinder to Warhammer Fantasy, Rogue Trader, and Call of Cthulhu. I run my online games primarily through Foundry VTT and Discord. I put a lot of work into automation, maps, encounters, character options, and the technical side of the game so that you can spend more time actually playing. Whether you're a veteran optimizer or completely new to the system, you're welcome at my table. I'll help you understand your character, learn the mechanics, and find a playstyle that works for you.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Flexible. Tactical. Creative. I give players freedom to experiment, build challenging encounters around what the party can actually do, and enjoy adapting when players take the story somewhere completely unexpected.
How Nikola Maric runs games
GM Style My specialty is crafting exciting, tactical combat encounters while weaving each character’s background into the larger story. Who your character is matters—their history, goals, relationships, and choices can genuinely shape the world around them. I give my players a great deal of freedom when creating their characters. Don’t worry about building something too unusual or powerful just because it might be difficult to balance—I’ll build the challenges around the party you create. So bring me the character you actually want to play, let your imagination run wild, and we’ll make them part of the world together

I deal with rules issues by...
Making a reasonable ruling quickly enough that the game keeps moving. If the answer is unclear, we'll check it properly after the immediate scene. I value the rules, but I don't want twenty minutes of a session disappearing into an argument over one interaction.
Nikola Maric's ideal table
My ideal group consists of players who are excited about their own characters and interested in the rest of the party. You don't have to be an actor. You don't have to know every rule. You don't have to create a ten-page backstory. You just need to participate, work with the group, and be willing to engage with the world. Creative plans, ridiculous ideas, tactical coordination, character drama, and unexpected solutions are all welcome.

Tactical combat, character progression, open worlds, powerful builds, anime-inspired campaigns, and having your character genuinely affect the story.
I think min/maxing...
Is completely fine when everyone remembers that this is a team game. I enjoy strong characters and clever builds. If the entire party wants to optimize, I'll happily raise the challenge to match them. The best optimization isn't just making one character powerful—it's building a party that works to
