About me

Are you a forever DM that wants to play with your party for once? Are you itching to play D&D but don't have anyone to play with? Hi there! My name is Nick, and I can make that happen. First and foremost, I want our table to be a comfortable place for everybody, so I use safety tools to make sure that happens. There are topics that I will never include in sessions that I run (such as but not limited to racism, homophobia, transphobia, and sexual assault) and before play begins I will ask you to share any lines you don't want me to cross in-game. The world is bad enough as it is so let's work together to make sure our games are a reprieve from it all. I'm primarily a stay-at-home parent but when I have free time I'm usually doing something TTRPG-related. My brother got me into D&D back in 2018 (thanks Jake) and it didn't take long for me to start running games. My first time running a game was in 2019 and it was an absolute disaster, but I'm told the players had a lot of fun so I try not to think about it too much. I've run many games since that one-shot and have figured out a LOT. I mostly play D&D 5e, but I also enjoy Stars Without Number, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire the Masquerade, and there are SO many more TTRPGs that I want to try. Looking forward to playing with you!

GM Style

Very simply, my GM style is a blend of anime and soap opera: *Over-the-top action sequences *The real treasure was the friends we made along the way *Dramatic NPCs with shocking twists When I run a game, my primary goal is making sure that you have fun. After all, you're paying money for this! If you say you want to do something, chances are I'll say "DO IT!!". Don't ever feel like you're limited to the words on your character sheet, have a good time with it! One of my favorite aspects of TTRPGs is roleplay. Whether it's combat, a puzzle, or a skill challenge, I will make sure to engage your character in the story so you can get the most out of this experience.

Great story and mystery. Amazing roleplaying and intro linking 4 strangers together, will definitely bring some inspiration back to my homegame

Nick does a great job of including everyone in the narrative and keeping the story going at a really fun pace. His attention to player comfort is really commendable. If you’re looking for someone who wants everyone to have fun and wants to tell an interesting story with the help of the players, I’d recommend him. He gives players a lot of command over the story in a way that’s really enjoyable. Excellent game master!

A lot of fun with the game and he walked me through a system I haven't played really well. He also worked really well with our ideas and RP.
