About me

Greetings! I have been a gamer since 1980 when a friend introduced me to "High Fantasy" by Jeffrey Dillow, which led to playing a mixture of D&D versions and other games. I had some great DMs early on to learn from. We tried a lot of different games, and this translated to my family as well, playing with my brothers and sisters and sometimes parents. While I have had a gap here or there in playing games over the years, I've earned a lot of experience with playing and running games for family and friends, and want to branch out to make new friends as well. Hosting games as a paid GM is a natural extension of that. I like the classic dungeoncrawl type of game the most, and this is what I also like to run.

GM Style

I do have NPCs to interact with, however, I'm terrible with voices. I'll do a little roleplaying to set a mood or negotiate prices and maybe talk my NPCs out of a fight, but my preferred version is classic dungeon crawl. Let's scour the underworld looking for glory and treasure. "Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for!" I prefer to limit groups to 4 or 5 players as more bogs things down and less isn't nearly as fun.
