I've been gamemastering games for the past eight years and the last two professionally. I've written and narratively directed a summer camp for endangered teens based on roleplaying games and LARP events, and I'm currently working as a Game Designer together with Skip Williams and Dragon Legion on a new RPG. My main focus as a game master is players' enjoyment and emotions throughout the plot. The way I see it, even if the game tells fiction, the emotions are real. I have great experience in mediating conflicts between players and making sure boundaries are respected: I put great care and effort, together with everyone at the table, to make sure everyone has the time of their life and every character gets the character arc they deserve. I play with Foundry VTT, and I've collected resources and programs to enhance the playing experience for the past eight years, making full use of technologies like dynamic lighting, tactical plugins etc.
I have a preference for splatter, dark fantasy, and homebrew settings. I love a good balance of roleplay and combat, but my golden rule is to prefer what fits best in the narrative, whether it is an enormous dungeon, an epic battle, or intense roleplay. I often bring theatricality to the characters, mimicking what would be their faces and actions.
