About Brite Cheney
I'm a GM with decades of experience playing and running Tabletop RPGs, starting with AD&D and D&D 3.5, but I've played and GMed a plethora of system over the years. I'm also an occasional freelancer working for Paizo, Renegade Games, and others. I love games with deep rules that lend themselves to excitement just as much as I love games that have only exactly as many rules as a game needs. As long as there is a story to tell and fun to be had, I will do my best bring those aspects out.

How Brite Cheney runs games
My goal as a GM is always to give the players the tools they need to tell the story they want to tell. Whether that's creating challenging combat encounters to make them feel like heroes, bringing to life NPCs that interact with their defining character traits, or giving them the right kinds of obstacle to meet their goals. I like fast paced combat, but am always willing to hear a player question or clarify a rule if needed (though any lengthy discussion of rules should happen at the beginning or end of a session). I also have no problem slowing the story down for cool character moments, whenever they might come up. Rule of Cool is always on the table, but I reserve the right to stop things from getting too wacky (where that line is depends on the table) Ultimately, I view TTRPGs as a collaborative experience, and my job as GM is to make sure everyone is having fun. I'm always open to feedback on making sure that I am doing that job correctly
