About me
Welcome Heros and Villians alike to the The Mimic's Tavern. The only tavern owned and run by Flux the Mimic. Though it prefers just Flux. Flux the Mimic may get you eaten. I am a GM with over 10 years of experience running games. My longest campaign has been running for 5 years as I take the players from level 1 to level 20. They are currently level 17. What you get: A 4 hour session with a max of 5 players. A 2 hour Session 0. This is planning session. You (the players) and I discuss expectations, what type of adventure and at what level you want to play. Of course, develop your characters. You need a free copy of Fantasy Grounds, Discord, and the desire to bring your character to life.
GM Style
I hold story above all else. If something makes sense story wise, then it will happen. I will bend, break, or just out right ignore the rules of D&D, if that is what the story needs. It will be my pleasure and honor to by your GM and bring your story to life!

David has given me the opportunity to take my first character from level 1 to level 17 and, at the current time, are working our way towards 20. He has worked with me throughout the campaign to make my druid a part of the story and to allow us all to break out into our own backstories.

David is a natural story teller and a very fluid DM. Where other DM's I've played with don't generally stray from their already written story-line or module, he is always willing to build his world on the fly with the players, creating a more sandbox environment. This creates opportunities for a more interesting and enriching style of story telling instead of shoehorning the player group into being a generic marauding band of murder hobos or dungeon crawlers. He allows the players to, in a way, dictate the story and goes from there and I feel that that makes the game that much more interesting!

Playing with David is so much fun! He encourages player creativity and is open to working with unique ideas even if the group wants to steer away from the main story and do something totally original. The way he can improv is so fun and great. He's patient with new players and offers insight and advice when you bring questions to the table. I really enjoy the adventures we've had together over many years and look forward to many more! It's obvious he loves the game, he can in or running a few at a time and you wont regret starting an adventure with him as your guide. I highly recommend him!
