About Skyler
Hey there, I'm Skyler, an AuDHD TTRPG nerd that's been running games on and off for almost 8 years now. For me, tabletop gaming is a sort of social therapy, a way to bridge gaps and make new friends, to tell stories that are uniquely our own. It is hands down my favorite hobby and I hope to share my love of it with you! Outside of tabletop, I am a 3D artist and mediocre game designer that loves movies and Ryan Gosling.

I ran my first game...
Long ago in the fabled but dreaded year... 2016. It was not a very good game, but I remember it fondly.
My favorite shows/movies are
Blade Runner/2049, Whiplash, John Wick, The Sopranos, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and more!
When I'm not running games I'm...
Thinking about running games, looking at new games, reading games, watching things about games, stressing about games (But in a cool and suave way), and somehow I find time between all of that to touch grass.
How Skyler runs games
My style tends to change and evolve depending on the game I'm running and the people I'm playing with, but generally what you can expect is, first and foremost, the feeling of an elevated home game. Where the vibe is that of friends getting together to play. I focus on character-driven narratives and when the need arises, gritty, bloody combat. You can expect me to (usually) have crafted more than one way to solve a problem that doesn't have to be combat. I adjust to fit the needs of my players, if they want more dialog-focused roleplay, they can have it. If they want to move things along at a faster pace, that's also okay. For most games, I lean towards Rule of Cool, but as a standard I'm rather Rules as Written unless otherwise specified for the game. (I'm usually using a House Rule or two)
