Quick witted, so fun, fantastic sessions. Max's enthusiasm for creating a wonderful experience for his players always shines through, whether it's an introductory game for brand new players or a table full of seasoned rpg vets. Excels at improvisation and fostering a sense of togetherness among table mates.

Max is strict with the rules of the game when he needs to be, while also allowing his players to shine with their creativity. He lets us take our time to flesh out character moments, but when it’s time for battle he’s brutally efficient as a BBEG and really challenges his players with combat. Sessions with him are a mix of artistic mind theater and strategic problem solving.

Max is a very engaging and enthusiastic GM, he takes his time for beginners to explain the rules and system, to set the mood for an immersive gameplay experience and is overall a fun and entertaining GM. He is a great storyteller, also leaving space for all his players to add to the story, bring in their own characters and ideas and manages to improvise and react to the plot on the spot. They stories in his games thus always become very entertaining and the athmosphere is overall very inclusive and comfortable. Max manages to keep you on edge, no matter if he is running a scary horror scenario, an epic adventure on space or is teling the tales of pirates in Europe. You can truly feel his passion for the games he runs, he is very knowledgeable and helpful, so even if this is your first time playing, he will be a good choice.

I can only choose 3 tags, but if it were up to me I would choose many more to describe how good Max is at GMing. He'd go above and beyond to bring the best experience he can.

Max has a great ability to put you in the scene and keep you there. The experience of playing with him is usually very immersive, which combined with his usual ample knowledge of the rules, together with a strong ability to improvise, make for a very fun and enjoyable time!

The biggest part of the TTRPGs I've had run by Max is the creativity allowed for players. I enjoy being able to test the boundaries of a gamescape and play out my idea of a fantasy. Not every crazy thing can happen, but he has the mindset of leaning towards letting whatever happen, and consequences simply follow. An open world never feels stifled, and Max does great to balance letting side quests happen while still bringing us back to the main point from time to time. Give him a try and I'm certain you'll enjoy the hell out of the game!
