I've been playing D&D at Marchelo's (virtual) table for over three years, and he always runs a great game. He creates a fun and inviting atmosphere where players are free to be creative and express themselves. Highly recommended for new players!

Marchelo is a great GM, he set up what looks like an excellent campaign during our first session.

As a D&D newbie, I was incredibly lucky to have Marchelo DM my first campaign. I did not know him prior to beginning the campaign, but he made me feel welcome from the beginning. We played Curse of Strahd - well, we are still playing but near the end - it's very exciiiiting! He is capable of handling the frustration and miscommunication that sometimes arises during this very human hobby with an unwaveringly calm and respectful demeanor. Marchelo is in control of his game, but he manages it with kindness and fairness. I have seen him “handle” a difficult situation among his players and with impressive savvy bring his entire group back on track to enjoy the game and each other’s company. I've GMed myself since the early 80's, Marcelo has run the game for my group for well over 80 sessions of 4+ hours. Marchelo is an impressively skilled GM. I give my highest recommendation.

Marchelo is always prepared, and when the party makes a surprising choice, he knows the lore and mechanics so well that he can pivot quickly to follow the story. The sessions with him are enthusiastically guided adventures. I played DND for the first time in one of his campaigns and he was kind and patient while I learned the game. 11/10 would recommend.

I have had the outstanding luck to have met and played 88 multiple hour D&D 5e sessions with Marchelo as my GM as of writing this, and can say without a doubt that Marchelo is a fantastic GM with an admirable passion for the game. He puts effort, love, and fun into his campaigns and carries a strong intuition as a game master with a talent at saying 'yes, and...' and a strong understanding of the rules. He is a wonderful person and game master and I could not recommend him highly enough.
