About me

Hey there! I'm Sean (he/him) I'm a writer, storyteller, voice actor and musician who loves to play narrative games. I've been a player for 8 years and a GM for 7 years. My favourite thing about TTRPGs is how easy it is to step away from reality and explore a different side of yourself. It's fun, freeing and extremely cathartic - not forgetting the many friends I've made at the game table. I'm great at facilitating both newbie and seasoned adventurers. I specialise in D&D 5e and I focus on character development through the story. GMing is my creative outlet, so I usually run games within my homebrew world. However I'm known to run the occasional officially written adventure (Like Curse of Strahd). Be warned. This GM is armed with Puns and knows how to use it.

GM Style

My GMing style is relaxed and free flowing. I like a light hearted approach, with jokes and fun moments. I like my players have more freedom and agency in the game. There's no pressure to be a heavy roleplayer and it's not a problem if you don't remember a rule or forget something on your sheet. I'll usually adapt to accomodate the group as well as individual players. I like to have a good session 0. I expect my players to respect each other. Don't be a dick i.e. be understanding and aware of the other people at the table, and it'll be a lot of fun. I currently use Roll20 pro, though I'm experimenting with Foundry VTT. Safety: I do regular checks with players and use safety tools like lines and veils. I will also check in if the game is particularly heavy. I like to keep a table that is a safe space for all my players.
