About me

Hey, my name is maks. I'm a 21yr old Mechanical engineering masters student who loves Dungeons & Dragons, I have around 2 years of experience running games and 6 years of experience with D&D. I run laid back games filled with roughly 60% roleplay and 40% combat. The types of settings I run can range from classic fantasy to all-out space adventure, I homebrew all of my worlds from the framework that forgotten realms provides. If you enjoy rules-light, fantasy with a hint of grimdark then I'm your man!

GM style

I Love Roleplay and character voices, I pride myself on being able to portray NPCs well and build a vibrant world filled with wonder. I strive in high fantasy settings but have been running a steampunk setting recently, I must admit I am not the best DM if you're a 3rd edition number cruncher and I tend to run story-driven combat rather than plain old random encounters. I would describe my style as 60% roleplay 40% combat, that is not to say I insist on my players roleplaying. If you don't feel comfortable roleplaying then that's all good with me. I make my own maps and homebrew items, monsters, locations, NPCs and abilities. I usually accommodate for Homebrew classes and races if that's something you're into, "As Long As It's Not OP, I'll Allow it" is my rule. I also specialise in Characters From 1st to 13th lvl Max for my own comfort, I tip my hat to anyone who likes running high lvl games but that just isn't my strength. TLDR; I run pretty much anything, mostly roleplay, lots of fun, and very chill.
