About LSD_Heroin
People usually call me LSD, but any derivative of my username will suffice. The main thing about my games, is the fact that I can bring a lot of different themes and moods in a way that doesn't feel forced. Your characters will be unwinding in a bar, and a conversation will flow to a painful dialogue about insecurities and old wounds, until a certain phrase of a fact will bring forth and overarching mystery, and after short while, things will return back to shooting bad guys. And all of that will have a suiting music, narration and atmosphere. The biggest example of that in media is Yakuza series. Where you stumble upon a gruesome crime scene, tension is high, some characters start to panic, and 2 cutscenes later you have a bossfight against a construction crane. Other then that, I am: - DMing since 2019 - Focus on long campaigns, the longest of mine was going for 2 years - Most of my games have a serious tone, but I do give players plenty of times to do funny or relaxing things - My main focus is player characters, and journey that they will have "Only I know how this story will end, but only you know, how your character will end it." Currently DM on Foundry, but I just recently moved to it.

I got started GMing...
with nothing but a VTM corebook and a dream. After 3 chronicles, I started looking into other systems, like D&D, Traveller, Lancer, Shinobi and Aeronauts.
My favorite system of all Time is
World of Darkness, 3'rd and 4'th editions. Rules-wise I prefer 4'th, lore-wise - 3'rd. In WoD series I like MtA and WtA most. Mages for their freedom of character creation, and fera for sheer variety of Umbra.
When I'm not running games I'm...
suffering from intense analysis paralysis. I need to run games for my brain to function.
How LSD_Heroin runs games
When I start new campaign, I usually don't have a plan about the plot, BBEG or events players will encounter. These things I figure out after awhile. However, the world around player characters will be thought out more thoroughly, both in it's past, and present. Roleplay - player characters progression in particular - is my favorite part of the game. I love player interactions, and seeing how character motivations play out during the game. Combat is not my most reliable skill. I do enjoy it, and I can make it interesting mechanically, but it's more hit or miss for me. I love making overarching mysteries, giving my players pieces of information over many sessions.

I deal with rules issues by...
either quickly looking them up, or by deciding then and there how to resolve the issue. I will look the actual ruling later, and if it turns out that I actually broke it, I will just note it.
My games focus on...
character interaction, roleplay and social aspect.
